Prévenir l’insécurité routière est un acte citoyen pour lequel s’engagent les assureurs en renouvelant leur soutien financier à l’association Prévention Routière, afin de lui permettre de mener à bien sa mission d’intérêt général. « Ce sont nos donateurs qui démontrent la pertinence de notre cause, rappelle Anne Lavaud, déléguée générale de l’association Prévention Routière. Nous sommes ainsi particulièrement fiers de l’engagement des assureurs qui s’inscrit dans le long terme, à nos côtés. »
Acteur majeur de la création de l’association en 1949, le secteur de l’assurance lui permet, depuis, par ce partenariat privilégié, de mener à bien les actions de sensibilisation auprès des différents publics. Ainsi, chaque année, le soutien des assureurs permet de contribuer à la sensibilisation aux risques routiers de près d’un million d’enfants et de jeunes, de 60 000 professionnels en entreprises et de 30 000 seniors.
« Le renouvellement de notre partenariat avec l’association Prévention Routière rappelle que la prévention est au cœur de notre métier d’assureur, indissociable de notre responsabilité sociétale, affirme Florence Lustman, présidente de la FFA. Nous devons collectivement continuer à développer une culture du risque en France afin de lutter contre le fléau de l’insécurité routière. »
A l’avenir, l’enjeu pour les deux partenaires est de rappeler que la route reste la première cause de mortalité des 18-25 ans et de débanaliser la mort quotidienne de 9 personnes sur les routes de France et de 7 fois plus de blessés hospitalisés.
